Instagram has introduced scheduled messaging, allowing users to plan messages up to 29 days in advance. This feature mimics capabilities seen in tools like iMessage and Gmail.
To schedule a message, start a new chat or select an existing one, type your message, and then use the dials to select the date and time for sending.
Scheduled messages can't include media, such as photos or videos, which emphasizes the focus on text-based communication within Instagram's direct messaging system.
You can manage scheduled messages easily from your chat; simply tap 'scheduled messages', select the message, and use the delete option to remove if needed.
