Gen Z is willing to sell their personal data-for just $50 a month
Briefly

Generation Lab's new app, Verb.AI, monetizes Gen Z's extensive phone usage by paying them for their personal data. Users install a tracker that monitors their online behavior, allowing companies to gain insights into consumer preferences through a ChatGPT-like interface. CEO Cyrus Beschloss emphasizes fair compensation for data, contrasting it with traditional market research methods. The global data broker market is projected to grow significantly, making this model increasingly relevant, especially to the open-minded Gen Z demographic willing to share their data for payment.

Verb is willing to pay. 'We think corporations have extracted user data without fairly compensating people for their own data,' Cyrus Beschloss, CEO of Generation Lab, said.
