Bratte Boliger, or Steep Housing, comprises six cabins situated in a picturesque climbing location near Åndalsnes, designed to harmonize with the rugged terrain of Romsdalen. Emphasizing local architectural traditions, the cabins are raised on stilts, minimizing their environmental footprint while providing stunning views. Each unit spans over 80 m2, featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a multifunctional kitchen/living area, ensuring efficient use of space. The project showcases Nordic sustainability through the use of low-carbon materials, enhancing its integration into the natural landscape without compromising modern comforts.
The design prioritizes quality and simplicity, embracing an aesthetic that aligns with the area's identity.
The cabins are designed to have minimal impact on the landscape and contain a compact layout with generous wardrobes.
