SHUISHI architects' orieco club hotel is a cluster of bamboo-clad modules
Briefly

The design process for the Orieco Club focused on integrating a modern retreat hotel into the rich historical and natural landscape of Puyuan, fostering a connection with the environment.
SHUISHI architects used a weaving concept inspired by the region's silk culture. This approach helped create a harmonious blend between the new architecture and the forested setting.
The building features modular components and maintains one of the old houses, ultimately providing a villager service center and shared spaces that allow an immersive experience with nature.
The architecture incorporates natural elements extensively, with large French windows, inclined roofing for tree coverage, and balconies that enhance interaction with the surrounding landscape.
