Ottavia Castellina, a fine arts photographer, restored a one-bedroom apartment in Turin, Italy, driven by a desire to settle down near her family. Enchanted by the vibrant neighborhood and the apartment's historical charm, she saw its potential despite its poor condition. Over six months, Ottavia renovated the space, preserving original elements like wood flooring and tiles, while making affordable layout changes, such as adding a bookcase. Her project reflects a personal touch with donated family furniture, transforming the apartment into a unique blend of heritage and modern comfort.
