Hay Sushi Restaurant / Odami
Briefly

Odami’s design philosophy for Hay Sushi sought to encapsulate the quiet confidence of the menu, marrying warmth and comfort within a contemporary yet familiar dining space.
Stripped back to its essential structure, the new site of Hay Sushi celebrates its industrial roots with abundant natural light and a material palette that softens the heavy concrete features.
The space contrasts resolute concrete with fluid design elements like circular doorways and rounded bar edges, creating a dialogue between strength and softness within the interior.
Throughout the restaurant, transparency and reflection interact dynamically with the materials, as light filters through glass and dances across surfaces, enhancing the overall dining experience.
