Eggs are whisked with milk, salt, and black pepper, then mixed with half of the shredded cheddar and Pepper Jack cheeses. The sausage-vegetable mixture is placed in a greased 9×13-inch dish, the egg-cheese mixture is poured over it, and the remaining cheese is sprinkled on top. The casserole bakes at 350°F for 35–40 minutes until lightly browned and set, yielding a warm, savory meal for family breakfasts or brunch.
