I was one of 46 Democrats in Congress to vote against the Fiscal Responsibility Act.I voted "no" on the bill because of the impact the spending cuts would have on my constituents.I also worry about rewarding Republicans for threatening a default as leverage to impose these cuts.The concessions Republicans won in the Fiscal Responsibility Act lay bare their cruel priorities.
