The fatal collision happened around 9:10 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 25 and Hillcrest Road. Officers arrived to find a car wrapped around a traffic pole.
Prior to the collision, the driver was seen speeding southbound on Highway 25, passing other cars on the right shoulder. The driver ran a red light at Hillcrest Road and was hit by another car.
