Corenesha Brooks, a 29-year-old woman, tried to impersonate a 12-year-old girl while attempting to steal over $2,800 worth of goods during a traffic stop.
During the traffic stop, deputies discovered beauty products and alcohol valued at $2,845 and confirmed Brooks' identity despite her attempt to deceive them.
Both Brooks and the driver, Tawa Higgins, faced multiple felony charges, including organized retail theft and possession of stolen property, after failing to provide receipts.
