Woman charged in fatal stabbing of her mother in NH

A 24-year-old woman, Brynn Comtois, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after the fatal stabbing of her mother, Cheryl Stoddard, in Seabrook, New Hampshire. Seabrook police responded to a 9-1-1 call around 11:18 p.m. on Sunday to the Rockingham Village Apartments, officials said. There, the officers found Cheryl Stoddard, 45, dead with an apparent stab wound.
An arrest warrant was issued for Stoddard's daughter, Comtois, on Monday and the 24-year-old was arrested.
An autopsy on Stoddard's remains was scheduled to take place Monday. The investigation into her death is ongoing, the AG's office said.
