The house at 91 Barton Ave., near Christie Pits Park, features artwork inside out, including painted toilets and wallpaper art, by 20 artists, open for public viewing.
Artist Stephanie Avery led the project, expressing transformation in her art practice through the opportunity to reimagine and redefine the space of the house.
Avery hopes for more projects like the art house, addressing the challenge artists face in finding workspaces amidst buildings awaiting redevelopment, aiming to meet an artistic need in Toronto.
