Severe burn victim airlifted after Toyota Prius fire in Contra Costa County

A Toyota Prius caught fire near Marsh Creek Road on Sunday, resulting in one person sustaining third-degree burns over 60% of their body, immediately airlifted for treatment.

First responders quickly transported the victim to Clayton Community Park from the scene before airlifted by a medical helicopter to UC Davis for specialized burn care.
