Police are investigating the shooting of a teenager in Brooklyn, linked to gunfire after the West Indian Day Parade, revealing ongoing safety concerns in the area.
On September 3, just after 1 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert, located shell casings, and eventually found a victim shot in the leg.
Despite initial confusion at the scene, police quickly located the victim three blocks away, highlighting the chaotic aftermath of the shooting incident.
The investigation is ongoing with no arrests made so far. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers to help solve the case.
