Police in Queens are seeking a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting incident that took place around 12:20 a.m. early Thursday. Johnny Ellis, 42, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and did not survive, while a 36-year-old man was injured but is currently in stable condition. As authorities released surveillance images of the suspect, who was last seen in a black hoodie, investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet as of Friday morning.
Police have released surveillance images of a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Queens early Thursday morning.
Officers discovered Johnny Ellis, 42, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, and another man, 36, who had a gunshot wound to the back.
Both victims were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where sadly, the older victim was pronounced dead while the younger man is in stable condition.
As of Friday morning, no arrests have been made, and the investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
