A street attack in Gravesend, Brooklyn, early Saturday morning left a 27-year-old man injured. At approximately 4:30 a.m., the victim was confronted by an assailant who first punched him and subsequently slashed his back and stabbed his forearm. The man sought medical attention at NYC Health and Hospitals/Coney Island, where he received treatment for his injuries, deemed minor by officials. As of now, there have been no arrests made in connection to the incident, and the investigation is still active.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. when an unidentified male approached the victim, punched him in the face, then proceeded to slash his back and stab his left forearm before fleeing.
Following the attack, the victim was able to walk to a local hospital where he received treatment for what officials described as minor injuries.
