Police arrested 37-year-old Anthony Sabato for stabbing Thomas Machalchick to death inside his apartment in Downtown Brooklyn. The victim was found covered in blood with a stab wound to his torso.
The suspect, Sabato, is charged with first and second degree murder, robbery, weapons charges, and aggravated cruelty to animals for stabbing the dog. The investigation is ongoing.
