East New York man accused of raping teen and attempted sex trafficking: DA * Brooklyn Paper

The defendant, 29-year-old Deandre Lee, was charged with attempted sex trafficking, rape, promoting prostitution, sexual abuse, and endangering a child. He allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl and coerced her into prostitution.
The victim reported Lee's actions to the police after he allegedly texted her regarding engaging in sex work. Lee was arrested, and bail was set at $100,000 cash or $500,000 bond.
"This defendant allegedly exploited a vulnerable teenager, trying to convince her to engage in prostitution," said Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez. Steps will be taken to bring him to justice.
