Brooklyn man arrested, charged for murder of Georgia man in Coney Island
"Ronald Williams, 38, of Georgia was found inside of a car in front of a building on West 35th Street just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday. He had gunshot wounds to the torso and arm and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers found Williams after a shot spotter activation at 1 Ocean Dr., blocks away."
"31-year-old Eugene Ohemeng, who lives at that Ocean Drive address, was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon."
Ronald Williams, 38, from Georgia, was discovered inside a vehicle on West 35th Street in Coney Island shortly after 1 a.m. on Tuesday with gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police located Williams following a shot spotter activation at a nearby location on Ocean Drive. Eugene Ohemeng, 31, a resident of Ocean Drive, was subsequently arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with Williams's death.
