Warren Buffett Wants to Give Away $1M for March Madness | Entrepreneur
Briefly

Warren Buffett, aiming to award a $1 million prize in this year's March Madness challenge, is changing the rules for Berkshire Hathaway employees. Traditionally requiring a perfect bracket, this year, employees only need to correctly predict 30 out of 32 first-round winners to win. With participation free for around 400,000 employees, Buffett hopes that by making it easier, someone will finally win the prize while he is still chairman. Runners-up could also earn $100,000, a practice echoed from previous years when several brackets predicted nearly perfect outcomes.
"I want to give away a million dollars to somebody while I'm still around as chairman."
"In the past, employees needed a perfect first-round bracket. This year, if an entrant picks at least 30 of the tournament's 32 first-round game winners, they'll get the cool million."
