Woman stabbed near Orange Line station Monday afternoon
Briefly

A woman was rushed to a local hospital Monday afternoon following a stabbing near the MBTA's Forest Hills Orange Line station in Jamaica Plain, according to police. The adult woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, MBTA Transit Police Supt. Richard Sullivan confirmed. He clarified the stabbing did not happen within the station, but along the exterior borders of the southwest corridor.
According to The Boston Globe, the woman's injuries were initially believed to be life-threatening, and detectives from the Boston Police Department's homicide unit were called to investigate. Police had made no arrests as of late Tuesday morning, according to Sullivan.
It would be inappropriate for me to comment or speculate on a motive at this early stage of the investigation," he said.
