Water boil orders that were issued Thursday in the towns of North Attleboro and Plainville due to positive E. coli tests were lifted Friday afternoon.Residents in both towns were told to boil any tap water before use after routine testing found traces of E. coli.The towns are working to uncover the source of the E. coli contamination.The boil water order was lifted for both towns as of 4 p.m. Friday after further testing found that the town's water was safe for public use.Both towns made bottled water available to residents.
