News 12 reported that 28-year-old Jumaane Williams was fatally shot in the head just steps away from his home on E 32nd Street in East Flatbush.
Community member James Delano expressed shock over the shooting, stating, 'This is one of the safest neighborhoods I've ever lived in. So to hear a shooting happened is actually really horrible...'
According to police, they received reports of an assault just after 4 in the afternoon on Monday before arriving at the scene.
Authorities are actively searching for two male suspects involved in the shooting, one described wearing a red jacket and the other in a gray sweatshirt and black jeans.
