A study by Originality AI revealed that more than 54% of LinkedIn posts over 100 words showed signs of AI assistance, highlighting the platform's adaptation to AI-generated content.
Adam Walkiewicz stated, 'We do have robust defenses in place to proactively identify low-quality, and exact or near-exact duplicate content. When we detect such content, we take action to ensure it is not broadly promoted.'
The study demonstrated that the introduction of AI tools and the availability of ChatGPT in early 2023 resulted in a 189% increase in AI-assisted posts on LinkedIn.
A parallel trend was noted where the average length of LinkedIn posts has increased significantly since the introduction of AI, with many posts now exceeding 500 words.
