According to Gartner's latest report, Samsung Electronics has reclaimed its position as the leading semiconductor company, generating $66.5 billion in revenue, attributed to surging demand fueled by AI workloads. Overall, the semiconductor revenue reached $626 billion in 2024, reflecting an 18.1% increase from the previous year. Notably, data centers emerged as the second-largest market for semiconductors, with GPU demand rising significantly. Other leading companies included Intel and NVIDIA, the latter significantly benefiting from the AI sector.
