Apple caves to second retail union after strike threat
Briefly

Employees at the Penn Square Apple Store have successfully negotiated a new three-year contract with Apple, marking the second successful union negotiation for retail workers.
The agreement includes an 11.5 percent wage increase, guaranteed PTO to vote, healthcare, and a relocation and severance option if the store closes.
Members of the union also negotiated to establish committees focused on safety, health, and workplace relations, aiming for a safer and more democratic environment.
Darren Griffis remarked on the inspiration drawn from the Towson union’s success, emphasizing that they believe Apple can meet their demands for sufficient pay and benefits.
