Mexico unveils Taruk, the nation's first e-bus by Megaflux and Dina - Sustainable Bus

The Mexican government has certified Taruk, the first fully designed and manufactured electric bus in the country, developed collaboratively by Megaflux and Dina. Set for an initial production of 2,000 units per year, Taruk is a 9.5-meter bus capable of carrying 65 passengers, equipped with a robust electric propulsion system that exceeds 300 kilometers in range. Its swift charging capability, taking less than four hours, exemplifies advanced technology. With support from renowned academic institutions, this project represents Mexico’s strategic push to compete against dominant Asian electric bus manufacturers in the growing regional market.
