We were off the pace first half, That's probably an understatement. We didn't close down with enough aggression or intent, and made it too easy for them. Then second half I thought the changes got us back in the game, and I felt we could go on and win the game but we probably didn't produce the right decisions at the right time in that top third of the pitch.
After more than 21 years without facing one another, Cardiff had to wait a little longer to reacquaint themselves with their Welsh rivals, as Wrexham completely failed to turn up for the first half. The Bluebirds' victory came as little of a shock, if anything their progress to the quarterfinals should have been far easier. Yousef Salech put the League One side into a 13th-minute lead, but Cardiff missed numerous chances to finish off the derby before it began in earnest.
The Foxes, who had seen Jordan James score his first goal since joining on loan, ended September having drawn all four matches this month. Phil Parkinson's visitors might have taken the lead in the seventh minute when Issa Kaboré made ground down the right and found Kieffer Moore at the back post. The Wales striker chested the ball down but could only fire across goal and wide.
It's not an easy decision because this game has been my life since I was a boy, but I know in my heart it's the right moment to close this chapter. When I look back, I feel nothing but pride and gratitude. I want to thank all the fans who supported me along the way, your passion and backing meant the world. Pulling on the Scotland shirt was also one of the greatest honours of my career.
A lot of people were expecting the crowd and players to respond to Chris Wilder coming back. There are clearly issues at Sheffield United. Not issues that can't be overcome because it is so early in the season, but there is obviously a lack of confidence and chemistry. It is alarming to lose seven games straight at any level of football. It wasn't going to be a quick fix.

Lexi Collins was diagnosed with the disease in June and has already undergone two open-heart surgeries, had a pacemaker fitted, and is currently receiving intensive chemotherapy. Despite the challenges, Lexi's dream is to visit New York City this Christmas a wish that is now closer to becoming a reality thanks to the support from the community.
"It's the same sport, but the culture is obviously so different, and the gravitas is there in both. The passion is there, but there is a sense that the differences are stark. "English football, it feels more like a fight. A Mexican football game feels like a dance, and I knew, 'Oh wow, that feels different enough to us than Wrexham that we could tell a really beautiful story.'"
Gary Neville emphasizes his focus on Salford City’s future and plans, stating, "No, I don't wish I was any other football club, I don't work or operate like that." This mentality reflects his commitment to his club's growth over envy towards Wrexham's success.
I'm absolutely delighted to sign for this historic Club, and I just can't wait to get started. Looking from the outside, what they are creating here is something I want to be part of. The family they have here -- it's a tight-knit Club and that enticed me. I had a great phone call with the manager, and after that I really wanted to sign.
