Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed he wants to add Chelsea coach Anthony Barry to his backroom staff.The German champions surprisingly and swiftly parted company with Julian Nagelsmann at the end of this week, replacing him with Tuchel following a quick round of negotiations.Tuchel was unveiled as Bayern's newest boss on Saturday, where he revealed that he plans on reuniting with Chelsea coach Barry in the near future.

His Majesty's Revenue & Customs has lodged a winding-up petition against Wigan Athletic over unpaid tax bills, with a hearing date of 26 July.Wigan will begin the League One season after relegation with an eight-point deduction for late payment of salaries.It also understood money is outstanding from last month's salary payments.

Brentford striker Ivan Toney would be blocked from any attempt to get around his eight-month football ban by joining a club outside England.Toney was suspended until January 2024 and fined £50,000 by an independent panel after admitting 232 breaches of Football Association betting rules.The ban, which the FA will enforce, only applies in England.

Wigan Athletic have failed to pay all players on time on the fifth occasion this season.BBC Radio Manchester understands some of the first-team squad have been paid for this month while others have not.A club statement said chairman Talal Al Hammad had on Friday paid 'as many employees as possible within the organisation with the resources available'.

Norwich City midfielder Kieran Dowell is to join Rangers as a free agent when the summer transfer window opens next month.The 25-year-old scored five goals in 26 appearances this season but has not played since February after suffering knee ligament damage.He made 16 Premier League starts in the previous campaign as Norwich were relegated.

Wigan Athletic have been docked three Championship points for failing to pay player salaries in March, having previously been given a suspended penalty for a similar breach.The Latics were charged and sanctioned for failing to meet terms of contracts in June, July and October 2022.Now the suspended sanction has been triggered under the terms of the agreed decision notified in January.

Hull moved further clear of the Championship relegation places as they consigned bottom side Wigan to a fourth straight defeat.The Tigers took a deserved half-time lead thanks to Jacob Greaves who lashed a fine finish into the far corner following Jean Michael Seri's corner.The hosts levelled with their first effort on target just after the hour when substitute Nathan Broadhead muscled his way through to head in James McClean's near-post corner.
