In pictures: Chile battles devastating wildfires as death toll soars
Massive forest fires have broken out in central Chile, resulting in at least 112 deaths and leaving 1,600 people without homes.
The fires are burning with high intensity around Vina del Mar, a popular beach resort and music festival host in Chile.
Chile's President Gabriel Boric has called the fires a 'tragedy of very great magnitude' and warned that the death toll could rise. [ more ]
