X-TRAKOJAN, designed by Nicholas Niemen, is an innovative public furniture piece created from recycled construction waste, embodying transformation and environmental responsibility.
"We used to joke that once the sweatshops closed, nothing went down Broadway but tumbleweeds," said Lindsay's son, Chris Bos. This remark reflects the transformation of the area from industrial to artistic, highlighting the community’s evolution and the sparse urban landscape in earlier times.
