Mitski debuted material from her new album Nothing's About to Happen to Me and broke out a couple of deep cuts at an intimate Nashville show on Sunday night. The Basement East holds 600 people, which is considerably smaller than the venues on her last tour or for her upcoming residency dates, and the show was announced on Friday afternoon, with tickets only sold in person on Saturday.
The expanded edition is out on October 10th via Legacy Recordings, and pre-orders are now available. Available in either 2xLP or 2xCD packaging, the reissue features the original John Cale-produced album newly remastered directly from the original 1/4-inch master tapes. It also includes Smith's 1975 RCA demo tape alongside four previously unreleased songs: "Distant Fingers," "The Hunter Gets Captured by The Game," and "Snowball." Stream the latter track below.
Carly Rae Jepsen is reissuing her now-classic 2015 album, , for its 10th anniversary. The new edition arrives October 17 via Interscope. The reissue features 24 tracks, including " Cut to the Feeling," remixes of " Run Away With Me," and four previously unreleased songs: "Guardian Angel," "Back of My Heart," "Lost in Devotion" and "More," the latter of which is out today.
