Most of the big-spending clubs in the Premier League had been interested in the Ghana international after he became one of the stars of the 2025-26 season. Semenyo is the third top scorer in the league with nine goals, plus has three assists. And now the former Bristol City man will finally have the opportunity to play in Europe - and the Champions League.
Nigeria suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ivory Coast in the 2023 final, though Osimhen hit the back of the net just once during that tournament en route to the showpiece. The Galatasaray striker is now the Super Eagles' second-highest goalscorer in the country's history, with 31 goals in 45 appearances, and only needs six more to level Rashidi Yekini's tally of 37. He has netted eight of those goals in seven appearances in 2025, his most prolific calendar year with Nigeria.
The 23-year-old striker has been outstanding since he moved to the Dutch side. He has 33 goals to his name in 61 appearances. He could prove to be an excellent addition for all three Premier League clubs, and it will be interesting to see if the Dutch outfit is willing to sanction his departure. Parrott has been linked with West Ham United as well.
