Spotify is revamping its revenue model by implementing changes such as charging labels and distributors a fee for streaming fraud and only monetizing tracks after they have accumulated 1,000 plays in the past 12 months.
These changes are aimed at generating an additional $1 billion in revenue for emerging and professional artists over the next five years. [ more ]
