Kicking off the list is the LG Gram Pro 17, which could be one of the most intriguing Windows laptops of 2026 thanks to a new material called Aerominum. Developed in-house, Aeronium is designed to reduce weight while maintaining structural durability. It allows the laptop to remain ultraportable without feeling fragile. LG even claims that it will be the world's lightweight RTX laptop.

LG is teasing the 2026 Gram Pro laptops that will be fully unveiled at CES, including what the company claims is the "world's lightest 17-inch RTX laptop." The LG Gram Pro 17 (17Z90UR) and Gram Pro 16 (16Z90U) will introduce a new ultra-light "Aerominum material" developed by LG that aims to reduce a laptop's weight while reinforcing strength and scratch resistance.

The Lenovo LOQ has a pretty solid display for a $1,100 gaming laptop and a very solid display for a $650 gaming laptop. The 15.6-inch LCD screen has a 144Hz refresh rate and Nvidia's G-Sync adaptive frame rate tech. It has a full 100% standard RGB color gamut, which often isn't the case with gaming laptops in this price range. It offers 300 nits brightness and has an anti-glare coating.
