1 day agoThese 3-Ingredient Mocktails All Start With Coca-Cola - Tasting Table
Mocktails can be creatively crafted using Coca-Cola as a base, providing flavor and carbonation without alcohol.
"The response to our Frank's RedHot® Spicy Gummy Bears proved that consumers are ready and excited for swicy done right. With Cholula Chamoy, we're leaning even further into flavour mashups that feel authentic, craveable, and completely differentiated in the candy aisle."
Food trends have never moved faster than they do now. With the power of social media, and particularly short-form video, a food can go from a concept in a lone creator's mind to an absolute phenomenon in a matter of hours.
If there's an earthquake? You'll need a bolillo pa'l susto (a bread roll to calm the nerves). Constructing your Day of the Dead altar? Make sure there's a sugary, orange-flavored pan de muerto on there to guide your loved ones back to the land of the living. And lest we forget the rosca de reyes-oval-shaped sweet bread topped with jellies and dried fruits that's served on Kings' Day (January 6) and contains hidden baby Jesus figurines.
A small splash can brighten the sweetness of corn and add a subtle herbal lift. It should enhance - not dominate. Think of it as a squeeze of lime, ever so popular in Mexican food, in spirit form.
The Mexican Pizza has been a Taco Bell fan favorite since it was first introduced to the menu back in 1985 - though it went by a different name back then, the Pizzazz Pizza. In its current form at the fast food chain, this dish consists of two layers of crisp flour tortillas with refried beans and seasoned ground beef sandwiched in the middle, and "Mexican Pizza Sauce," melted cheese, and diced tomatoes on top.
Protein-packed smoothies and shakes are all the rage. Whether your go-to ingredient is Greek yogurt, peanut butter, cottage cheese, or simply protein powder, these popular drinks are both refreshing and good for you. But sometimes, after a long day, protein is the last thing you want to worry about, and a dessert-like smoothie is the perfect pick-me-up. One of our favorite sweet smoothies is a spin on one of the most classic vintage American pies: the cherry pie.
If you're starting the year with a healthy reset, then Japanese- Mexican restaurant Los Mochis has just the menu for you. Partnering with author and health and sustainability advocate Melissa Hemsley, the restaurants have given their classics a nourishing boost to support gut health, immunity and reduce inflammation. The partnership stems from both Melissa and Los Mochis working with The Felix Project, London's biggest food redistribution charity, to champion sustainability and prevent food waste.
Deviled eggs are far too versatile to be limited to the same few seasonings every single time we make them. Mustard, mayonnaise, and maybe a pinch of paprika always go into the filling, no questions asked, no second-guessing. All the while, we have been unknowingly missing out on a long list of ingredients that will seriously upgrade your deviled eggs. For example, just a few sprinkles of the Mexican seasoning Tajín, and you'll forget those deviled eggs were ever so plain and ordinary.
For the first time ever, Topo Chico Hard Margarita FAB is available in the brand's unmistakable glass bottle - bringing its iconic symbol into the world of full-flavor Margaritas FABs, it says. Made with real lime juice and added minerals for a crisp finish, the iconic vessel delivers the same balanced sweet-tart lime flavor fans love, now in a more premium, ready-to-enjoy experience, it adds. Before opening, drinkers are invited to "Flip Before They Sip" - a simple ritual printed directly on the bottle that encourages flipping to fully mix the real lime juice before that first refreshing sip, the company notes.
As we mentioned in our review, these hot, bite-sized treats "look like an egg roll from the outside, which is fine." Although more importantly, surpassing the advertised cheesecake, this dessert delivers "just mouthfuls of crisp breading," with any filling therein distributed unevenly or (as was our experience) stuffed into one end of the log: "This dessert is mainly the crispy roll with a nominal amount of tangy cheesecake filling and even less caramel."
Filling my cheeks with crisp puffed shells packed with spiced potatoes, chutneys, and tamarind water is a core Delhiite memory, and one that comes rushing back at Gokul Sweets in Decatur. The no-frills, counter-service spot is a longtime vegetarian Indian street food staple, complete with a bakery case stacked with dozens of sweets. North Indian treats abound, but the massive South Indian dosa is the envy of the canteen.
