Toronto police are warning of traffic delays on the Gardiner Expressway due to a water main break early Monday morning. Around 4:15 a.m., a water main broke in the area of the Gardiner Expressway and Grand Avenue in Etobicoke, police said in a post on X. Rail services were halted after a massive fire broke out on train tracks between Peckham and Bermondsey on Tuesday evening, causing travel chaos for Londoners. The fire broke out between Queen's Road Peckham and South Bermondsey railway stations. Three fire engines and approximately 15 firefighters were rushed to the scene, trains were stopped in both directions and power was cut. We were called at 10.15am on 24 February to reports of a road traffic collision in Old Kent Road, SE15. We sent three ambulance crews, two paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene. The first paramedic arrived in around seven minutes. We treated eight patients at the scene and took them to hospital.

Severe delays are expected on the M25 this afternoon following an earlier crash near the London commuter town of Brentwood. The crash happened at around 1.40pm just beyond Junction 28 (A12, Brentwood/Brook Street Roundabout), bringing the M25 anticlockwise to a standstill. Queues are stretching back to Junction 29 (Romford), and severe delays are expected. Emergency services have been contacted for comment about the earlier crash.
