Downtown San Jose secured a new musical highlight for late March. Music Mania steps in as the city's first multi-genre music festival, setting up shop at the SoFA Lot from March 27 to 29. The outdoor space at 350 South First Street lines up directly with the NCAA Sweet 16 basketball action unfolding nearby at SAP Center. Friday opens with heavy electronic sets led by DJ Diesel, the alter ego of Shaquille O'Neal, supported by Whethan, Eptic, Zen Selekta, and Maneki.

Portland-area festival Pickathon holds its 2026 edition on July 30-August 2 at Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, OR. Festival passes and single-day tickets are on sale and they've just announced this year's lineup. The 2026 lineup features a selection of "legends" as headliners: Steve Earle, Marcos Valle, Built to Spill, Shakey Graves, Meridian Brothers, Alela Diane, Acid King, Mexican Institute of Sound, and Clinton Fearon.
The lineup has been announced for the 2026 Rock the Country traveling festival tour, with Kid Rock, Creed, Jelly Roll, and Blake Shelton among the headlining acts playing various dates on the eight-city run. The festival will make two-day stops in Bellville, Texas (May 1-2); Bloomingdale, Georgia (May 29-30); Sioux Falls, South Dakota (June 27-28); Ashland, Kentucky (July 10-11, 2026); Anderson, South Carolina (July 25-26; Hastings, Michigan (August 8-9); Ocala, Florida (August 28-29); and Hamburg, NY (September 11-12).
Returning to Flushing Meadows Corona Park on June 5 through June 7, the musical event will feature headliners Lorde, Stray Kids and A$AP Rocky alongside a slew of other big-name artists, including Major Lazer, 2Hollis, Kali Uchis, Baby Keem and more.
