So far in Day 6 of in the removal hearings of San Mateo County Sheriff Christina Corpus, deputy Carlos Tapia, the head of the deputies' union, is testifying about his working relationship with Corpus and is expected to testify about his arrest that occurred hours before a county-commissioned report by retired Judge LaDoris Cordell came out. Cordell's report focused on Corpus and her former chief of staff, Victor Aenlle. The report said the two were more than friends and were running the sheriff's office through retaliation and intimidation.
Angela Tanner, who lives at Barham Park with her partner Rosemary, said: "We just don't have a lift in this block. We've asked multiple times for a refund but Notting Hill Genesis still haven't made that refund. We're paying around 200 for the non-existent lift this year. It's like banging your head against a brick wall."
