Despite a steep decline in its token price, the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem has secured a high-profile advertising placement at the Las Vegas Sphere. Pudgy Penguins, a crypto-native brand that began as a popular NFT collection, has since expanded into consumer products, licensing, and digital entertainment. Its memetoken PENGU was launched on Dec. 17, 2024. Pudgy Penguins announced on Dec. 13 that it had locked in an advertising slot at the Sphere, a venue widely viewed as one of the most prominent digital billboards in the world. The placement is reportedly valued at around $500,000 and is scheduled to begin on Dec. 24, running for several days.

"I was blown away," said May of seeing The Eagles' concert at the venue. "It's one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life. Such a wonderful marriage of sound and wonderful music and incredible visual contact content. And yeah, it's got my mind working."

I'm not going to confirm anything, because there's nothing to confirm. But I'm not going to deny it, because we're all such fans of this venue. It's something that we're considering, [but] nothing is etched in stone or green-lit.
