While I had this car, I had a nagging feeling that Kia built it down to a price, and you could see that, especially if you started touching the plastics around the cabin. It just doesn't feel premium enough for a vehicle that, as tested, costs more than 50,000 ($58,000) and still doesn't have all the available options. But it does get plenty of other things right.
The hatchback-shaped electric prototype features redesigned front and rear bumpers, 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport rubber, green brake calipers, and the words Great Thrills all over the bodyworkI guess that's what Kia believes GT stands fornot Grand Tourer or Grand Turismo. The car looks very similar to the GT-Line trim, which looks sporty but doesn't get any meaningful upgrades under the skin.
