Last week we saw the first CAD-based render depicting the upcoming iPhone Fold, and today a video shows the device from more angles - or does it? It might be based on the leaked CAD schematics, but if it is then why isn't that mentioned in it? We assume it's to make you think this is a leak. It's not. It's more like speculation.
According to a new investor note by Jeff Pu, a rather prolific source of Apple-related information, the iPhone Fold will use a combination of titanium and aluminum in its frame. That's interesting because the Pro iPhones had recently gone from stainless steel to titanium a while ago, and then switched back to aluminum, the original iPhone frame material, this year in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.
