One of the most ferocious exchanges came when Bondi was questioned by Rep. Becca Balint of Vermont. The lawmaker, who is queer, asked Bondi about Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. The latest release of Epstein files suggests Lutnick had a closer relationship with the late Epstein than previously known, including a visit to the island he owned.
Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, who worked closely with Musk during the Tesla CEO's time as the face of the Department of Government Efficiency, expressed disapproval toward how Musk handled firings at DOGE.
