PREVIOUS REPORT: Bay Area restaurant employee caught on video slamming slab of ribs onto ground Environmental Health cleared the restaurant after it passed a health inspection on Nov. 20 that required the correction of "major violations" and the demonstration of proper food handling practices. Director of Santa Clara County Environmental Health Dr. Marilyn C. Underwood said that a pest control report showed that there was no current cockroach activity following earlier reports of an infestation, and no evidence of pests was observed.

The Sonic Drive-In on Staten Island, after a promising start in 2015, faced a decline in popularity, resulting in temporary closure and issues like incorrect orders and long wait times.

Several of the affected areas have had their food operations suspended until the establishment can provide all necessary professional cleaning and sanitation documentation to ensure all health and sanitation requirements have been addressed.

Church's Chicken has closed its Telegraph Avenue location in Oakland due to a failed inspection conducted by the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health.
