Popular SF burger spot closes due to vermin infestation, report says
Briefly

Super Duper Burgers, located in San Francisco's Marina District, has temporarily shut down after failing a health inspection due to a significant vermin infestation. Inspectors found droppings in various areas, including the kitchen and storage locations. Additional concerns included an inoperable fryer and debris that could harbor vermin. The restaurant must undertake extensive sanitation and proofing before it can reopen, although no timeline has been established for a follow-up inspection or reopening.
The restaurant, at 2201 Chestnut St., failed its Thursday afternoon health inspection when inspectors discovered vermin droppings on the floor, in the storage area, and behind equipment in the restaurant's upstairs and basement prep areas.
A thorough sanitation is also required. It's unclear when the Department of Public Health will conduct a follow-up inspection or when the Super Duper restaurant in the Marina District will reopen.
