Hazie's is an American restaurant and cocktail bar in Hayes Valley built for pre-show dinners. It's usually easy to grab a table, there's tons of seating, and people are bound to find something they like on the eclectic menu with anything from latkes to seared scallops, gnocchi, or poke.
A child was reportedly run over by a vehicle on the street Sunday morning in the area between Hayes Valley and Alamo Square, and did not survive his injuries. The collision happened around 10:37 am Sunday, and the city's Department of Emergency Management sent out an alert to avoid the area of Hayes and Webster streets. A vehicle struck the child, police said, but no further information was shared about the accident.
The team continues to grow their Hayes Valley footprint with a casual offshoot called RT Bistro. It'll be right next door to their original Rich Table and is their third concept after nearby RT Rotisserie (with another location in NoPa). Expect wood-fired vegetables, icebox pies with roasted fruit, and a burger topped with toma cheese and bacon jam.
