MSI equipped the X28 with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a Display 1.4a port, all of which can accept a 280Hz 1440p signal if your computer has the right ports. You can connect a current-generation gaming console to the display, but all of them can only output a video signal up to 120Hz. The X28's port selection allows you to keep a couple of consoles and gaming PC connected at the same time without a splitter.
