The forward, who is on the verge of joining Manchester City, provided yet another telling contribution for the Cherries when he struck in the final few minutes against Tottenham to end his side's 11-match run without a Premier League win. It was his 10th goal of the season and arguably one of his most memorable - certainly in terms of the context of the match and how dramatic the strike was, and to complete the magical moment it also came on his 26th birthday.
There's clearly a few who give him grief for moving onto bigger and better things. You don't leave Liverpool to join many other clubs because they're obviously one of the biggest clubs in the world, but when you get the chance to go to Real Madrid, you're almost obliged to try your trade there and see if you can do it in a different country at another fantastic club.
Some signings are better received by fans than others, as is well known, but it is questionable whether any new addition has been at the end of such an outpouring of anger as Dynamo Kyiv's acquisition of Vladislav Blanuta. The 23-year-old Moldovan-Romanian striker joined last week for 2.6m (2.3m) from FC U Craiova and the transfer had barely been made public before it transpired that he had shared content by a Russian propagandist on TikTok, to the fans that made him pro-Putin.
"I'm here eager to give my all, to push myself, and to be on the pitch playing at my best. I have the mentality to make history, to be able to win a title. I believe we can achieve those goals by working with humility."
