HP is all over it, announcing several new devices today, ranging from a slim detachable hybrid, an 8-inch Windows tablet built for professionals, and several new takes on the existing HP ElitePad 1000 G2 that gears up the tablet for unique work environments.
HMD is expanding its reach to the enterprise and government/defense sectors via its HMD Secure division. Its latest device is the Terra M, which HMD classifies as an ultra-rugged smart feature phone with an enterprise-ready OS, and its target group includes critical infrastructure operators, military personnel, law enforcement agents, first responders, government and enterprise employees.
