The three lowest-rated rental car companies for customer satisfaction were Dollar, Fox Rent A Car, and Payless. To determine the list, J.D. Power surveyed more than 8,200 travelers who rented a vehicle at an airport during the past year. The company looked at several factors, including the ease of renting, the level of trust, the vehicles and staff, the value for the price, and digital tools."
Enterprise Rent-A-Car topped customer satisfaction rankings with a score of 734 out of 1,000, while National Car Rental placed second with 721; both brands are owned by Enterprise Mobility. Advantage, Sixt, and Hertz completed the top five, and Dollar, Fox Rent A Car, and Payless ranked lowest. J.D. Power surveyed more than 8,200 travelers who rented vehicles at airports during the past year and evaluated ease of renting, level of trust, vehicles and staff, value for price, and digital tools. Customers who bypass rental counters and go directly to lots saved more than seven minutes.
